North Florida

The Application Video

In this episode, we visit sites across north Florida where John Audubon and Billy Bartram traveled in the 18th and 19th centuries and consider their failures in the outdoors with those of the contemporary bushmen of Alone. From our footage, we created a 5-channel application video for the television show.

This work was created while at a residency at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, and debuted there in the winter of 2025. Read more about this work in
Marcus Civin's essay for Prospect.
